Lafayette, La. - Responding to Louisiana’s growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals, LSU Health Shreveport’s School of Health Professions and Sciences has announced approval to launch a hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program in Lafayette, the first of its kind in Louisiana.

LSUHS School of Allied Health Professions’ Doctor of Occupational Therapy program, the first of its kind in the state of Louisiana, has been granted accreditation for a period of seven years from the American Occupational Therapy Association’s Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
